Bear always in mind to never let the sander stand while running. Even with the finest sanding paper, the floor sander sander can still leave a permanent groove on the floor. Vacuum as usual.

STEP #5 – Lastly, use an edge sander to sand the hard-to-reach areas that the drum sander has failed to reach. This is a hand-held tool that may have a dust bag and runs in a circular motion. Proceed with sanding and follow with vacuum cleaner.
